Contact: Bill Sholette (215) 674-1234 HORSHAM, PA The Multipoint II Series 506-3000 RF level transmitter from AMETEK Drexelbrook offers an economical solution for processes requiring multiple operating points, such as batch processing and sump applications. The Multipoint II transmitter combines up to three (four) control points on one sensing element. With only one electronic unit to install and maintain, the Multipoint II transmitter requires only one opening in a vessel for the sensor. That sensor element mounts in a single NPT or flange mounting at the top of the vessel. Inserting the sensing element vertically from the top of the vessel or sump eliminates any potential leaks due to the placement of the control at or below the material level. Control points can be set for High or Low Level indication anywhere along the sensing element. One control point also is available with an adjustable differential hysterisis for use as a pump start and stop control. For process materials that produce coatings, the Multipoint II transmitter features AMETEK Drexelbrooks unequaled Cote-Shield Ô circuitry capabilities. Cote-Shield ignores the effects of build-up on the sensing element and continues to accurately detect the presence or absence of material. The Multipoint II is available in integral or remote-mounted versions with standard explosion-proof or optional NEMA 4X housings. The sensing element and cable are intrinsically safe for hazardous areas. The Multipoint II transmitter is well suited for controlling sumps, lift stations or batch process applications. AMETEK Drexelbrook is an international leader in the design and production of level-measurement instrumentation and a unit of AMETEK, Inc., a leading global manufacturer of electronic instruments and electric motors with annual sales approaching $1 billion.
